WinEst v11 - Local Cost Data and Estimating

In addition to including a cost consultant on our design team, we have an in-house cost estimating program and database.  This is not a general database based on national average prices like RS Means.  It is a database developed from past Bechtle Architects bids, local supplier quotes, and local general contractor past experience and input.  We are currently updating the database with current bids and information from local suppliers and subs. This tool allows detailed estimating with minimal information required to be on paper.  The database is easily manipulated and updated as more detailed information is developed and changes are made. Costs can be escallated for a future bid date, labor rates can be changed for specific or global items.  Tracking cost from the start is important to stay on budget and manage project expectations.  This is just one more tool we have to help keep your project on track!
